In this course, I’m going to recommend three.  Unfortunately, there is no one-size-fits-all solution because we all have different goals and objectives. And after this lesson, you’ll be able to decide which one is best for you.Each has its own set of advantages and disadvantages, which you can weigh at the end of this video. I point out some key distinctions between Gumroad, Payhip, and Koji so you can choose which is the ideal digital product sales platform for your needs.The following summarizes the price and charge variations between Koji, Gumroad, and Payhip:(1) Gumroad: 9% + 0.30c /transaction ($0-$999 in sales) (UPDATE FEB. 2023: Gumroad has removed the tiered fee structure and now charges a simple 10% flat fee no matter your sale volume)(2) Payhip: 5% + PayPal/Stripe fees Koji: 0-10% (Depending on the app you use). Example: Tip Jar app is 0% while the Digital Download app is 5%.(3) Koji: Koji is a service with built-in app connections that enables your audience to make purchases right from your page (link in bio).(4) Gumroad: Gumroad seems to be a favorite amongst creators, especially with Twitter users from what I’ve witnessed. All purchases made through Gumroad are stored in the user’s Gumroad account.I like how simple and uncluttered the UI of Payhip is. Even though you can use Zapier to connect an email marketing service, you can connect your account directly to email marketing services like ConvertKit and Mailchimp on the Marketing page. Another significant benefit that jumps out is its Shop Builder. Woocommerce is a cheaper alternative although there is more maintenance required to keep the WordPress site that it operates with up and running smoothly.There are also the matters of a domain, hosting, setting up email, and preparing the site to efficiently sell the products or services you want to add.
